Our 2005 Fleetwood Folding Trailer Niagara

In July 2004 we traded our trusty 2001 Santa Fe in and purchased a 2005 Niagara.  For 2005, FFT eliminated the Niagara from the Grand Tour series and moved the name into the Highlander series. What had previously been named a Hemlock was renamed Niagara for 2005.

Take a look at the Modifications and Information sections on the menu to the left .  You will see the many modifications we have made as well as some tips and general camping information.

We purchased the camper at Peco Campers in Tucker, GA ( a suburb of Atlanta.

Peco Camping Center

As many people have said, it is the dealer that counts when making a pop up purchase.  Peco is one of those dealers!

The galley area with double sink, refrigerator, 3 burner low pressure stove and oven.  The only thing we find strange is no drawer for utensils in the galley area.  The only drawer we found that worked is up front under the microwave.

Here is the front cabinet which houses the microwave and AM/FM Stereo.  To the left of it is an "L" shaped couch.

The photo to the left is the rear mount bike receiver.  It is held in place with two bolts completely through the bumper as well as four screws into the bottom of the pop up.  The weight limit is 150 lbs and some have reported that the screws/bolts work loose.

New for us is the double sink.  Its nice that you do not need to lower the galley for travel and that it comes equipped with a more standard sized faucet. Shown on the left is the optional cutting board.

One of the down sides to having an inside shower on this model is that you end up with a gray water drain on both the front and back of the pop up.  I decided that this was a problem so I constructed a "Single Side Drain System". The photo to the left shows the gray water tank on the front side of the pop up prior to the new addition I made.

Here you see us set up on our first "official" trip (the driveway at the house didn't count.  A great weekend at Devil's Fork State Park in South Carolina.
